Pre-doctoral Fellow | Moving Image Department, George Eastman Museum, Rochester, NY, 2020-2022

  • Assistant editor of the Photo Drama of Creation book project with Paolo Cherchi Usai.
  • Research project on the Francis Doublier Collection.

Digitization specialist | Digital Scholarship Lab, University of Rochester Rochester, NY, USA, since 2016.

  • Cultural heritage photography of reflective and transmissive media using Phase One and Capture One Cultural Heritage 10 suite. Multimedia handling ranging from medieval manuscripts to lantern slides, archival biological slides, archival papers, large formats and archival films formats.
  • Cultural heritage capture and representation using immersive technologies such as Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI), 3D scanners and modeling (in training).
  • Digital Restoration of Tokkan Kozo (Yasujirô Ozu, 1929) with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Helped reimagine the needs for the imaging lab considering cultural heritage imaging capture.

  • Collection Management – Inspection, identification and cataloging of early French film of the Moving Image Department
  • Preservation and Digital Restoration – Help with a digital restoration project using Revival; U-Matic research and digitization project; DV-tape digitization project; assistant on different preservation projects.

Box Office Manager | Dryden Theater, George Eastman Museum, Rochester, NY, USA, 2014-2015.

  • Box office and ticketing.
  • Evening theater management: assisted the projectionist in adjusting image focus and sound levels for the theater, welcomed patrons, surveyed the screening, cleaned and closed the theater.
  • Organization of weekly senior matinees. Worked to make the theater wheelchair and walker accessible, welcomed patrons and adjusted light and sound theater settings to the audience.

  • Technical Archivist Assistant – Current restoration projects (including three 1915 Balboa studio movies starring Henry King and three Pathé Exchange early short films).
  • Assistant Administrator – Cataloged and worked on a new filing system for the department internal administrative documents on their past preservation projects.
